Corunclima Powers Ambulance Fleets in Peru

Witnessed by the President of Peru, the new UNOPS ambulance fleet—fully fitted with Corunclima’s branded electric air conditioners—is now handed over to Peru’s Ministry of Health.

As these ambulances hit the road, Corunclima is proud to support Peru’s medical infrastructure, enhancing emergency response capabilities and enabling safer, more efficient patient transfers across the country. The handover underscores Corunclima’s commitment to advancing global healthcare through innovative, sustainable technology.

Unlike traditional engine-driven units, the fully electric T35B operates independently on the ambulance’s battery, eliminating harmful emissions and reducing noise to near-silent levels. This dual advantage is transformative: cleaner air protects patients with respiratory conditions or compromised immune systems, while the quiet environment fosters clear communication between medical teams and calms anxious patients during critical transfers.

Featuring a high-efficiency 12V/24V brushless DC compressor, this system delivers consistent and powerful cooling performance. The automatic main battery protection function eliminates all power-related concerns, ensuring stable vehicle power supply. It allows medical staff to focus on patient care without interruptions, providing a reliable and comfortable environment for critical emergency medical transport. With dual-zone climate control, it provides precise temperature settings for both driver and patient compartments. Rapid cooling, low noise, and high reliability ensure stable comfort in any emergency.

For Corunclima, the partnership with UNOPS and MINSA builds on its growing legacy of supporting global public health initiatives. We are proud to contribute to Peru’s healthcare transformation. The T35B is more than an AC system – it’s a tool that enhances patient safety and empowers medical teams to deliver their best care. This project reinforces our mission to combine innovation, sustainability, and reliability in solutions that make a tangible difference.”

As the first wave of ambulances hits Peruvian roads, Corunclima’s technology joins MINSA’s broader efforts to strengthen emergency response. The collaboration aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and PAHO/WHO’s agenda to build resilient health systems in Latin America, ensuring equitable access to quality care for all Peruvians.
